I saw a book showing the work of the artist Jim Dine. He would use the same images over and over again in different compositions, in what seemed like endless ways. This impressed me and I began to do similar things. I would go and sketch people in random places and then use them in multiple pieces. The 2 background figures are also the figures in one of the work-in-progress paintings below. I really like working this way.

About Me
After graduating with a degree in art from Cal State University, Fullerton, I then earned a teaching credential and began teaching art in high school. This takes up a lot of time, not to mention I am married and have 4 kids. I find myself making less and less art, so hopefully this blog will push me to be making more art and more often. My goal is to post something new that I have been working on at least 1 time a week. Wish me luck.
