Here is one that is actually done. It is hard to see in the picture, but the background has a rough, matte texture to it, achieved through mixing in cold wax to the paint. I treally like the effect, but I still need to try and develop it further

About Me
After graduating with a degree in art from Cal State University, Fullerton, I then earned a teaching credential and began teaching art in high school. This takes up a lot of time, not to mention I am married and have 4 kids. I find myself making less and less art, so hopefully this blog will push me to be making more art and more often. Oooh, I really like this one.. I think it is my favorite.. I noticed that you said it is actually done, so maybe that is why I like it so much. I love trees. I love the feeling you created with these trees. Beautiful.
